Tuning Fork Therapy

Personalised vibrational therapy with Diane in Harwich

About Tuning Fork Therapy

Diane Bitmead Reiki Master in Harwich Essex

Tuning fork therapy uses specific sound frequencies to support relaxation, balance and overall wellbeing. Originally developed for musical precision, tuning forks are also used within complementary therapies to apply gentle vibration to the body.

Diane trained in Cornwall and completed extensive case study work before integrating tuning fork therapy into her practice. Sessions are tailored to the individual and designed to support both physical and emotional balance.

What are Tuning Forks?

Tuning forks are metal instruments that emit a precise frequency when struck. In therapeutic settings, these frequencies are applied to the body to introduce gentle vibration and resonance.

Different forks resonate at different frequencies. Each session is tailored to the individual, with specific forks selected based on personal needs and presentation.

What to Expect

Each session begins with a discussion about your current concerns and goals. Treatment is fully individualised and differs from group sound baths or gong sessions.

You will remain fully clothed and lie comfortably on a treatment couch. Tuning forks are activated and applied around or gently on specific areas of the body.

Sessions typically last between 75 and 90 minutes, followed by a short period of rest.
